3DRAD RESURRECTION
« on: October 13, 2016, 04:17:45 PM »
Making this site myself. Wanting to preserve 3D Rad. The link to download 3D Rad files at the top of the webpage also has the dependencies required for 3D Rad to run properly., like the MIcrosoft Visual C++ 2005 SP1 Runtime Libraries. Or you can get the run time libraries here as well:    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=5638

I think I have the latest scripting reference for 3D RAD on my site but if you have a more up to date one I'd appreciate it if you'd reply with it in a post so I can add it to the site :)

Also if you have a site with 3D RAD assets/tutorials/information on it and want it linked at my site tell me about it in this post. Thanks.

The 3DRAD RESURRECTION website is here:

Hi darthhawk.
Thanks for the site, it's really nice. After a long time, i installed 3D Rad anew. Normally, i'm  a Blenderuser, but now i will use both of them. The scripting reference is a good start to get started with 3D Rad's scripting editor.
Greetings

I am glad that someone did this. I am not a programer, I like the idea of building games with 3D RAD and the modules that were created for it. I have played around building models, terrains, etc with Open FX, using Ultimate Unwrap to skin them and using the existing game logic to create game scenarios.  One of my sites http://sotofo.com/gaming.html  I have some stuff I have done there with 3D RAD, and also a Google Plus collection I own that has some YouTube stuff I have posted too. https://plus.google.com/collection/gdLMRB.

A game I am working on. I made a small desert racing game. I used 3D RAD 7.22, open FX as a modeler, Ultimate Unwrap to skin the models. If any one would like the project files let me know. http://www.sotofo.com/a-video-game-i-am-working-on/

Demos and 3D RAD stuff I am working on https://dellsweet.sotofo.com/3DRAD/ that is my own, and I own sotofo.com so it will be there a while. The old posts here on sotofo.com were me, and no longer work as I purchased the domain and had to move it to my own server; so I lost the content.
Demos: https://dellsweet.sotofo.com/3DRAD/demos.html
I'm going to start working on the projects again and would like some feedback. Also I will leave a message for the moderator to remove the old links, Geo...
