General Discussion / 3DRAD.org. Next step
« on: November 02, 2016, 11:42:45 AM »
Greetings!
Turns out that this project remained frozen for too long. 3drad  owner keep silence and did not respond on my attempts to contact him.
So this project will advance on its own and more stuff will be published starting end of November.
  • First of all, versions 4.x and 5.x will not be released in near future since it belong to previous 3drad company owner (Studio Bitplane)
  • All other versions that were released to public will be available on this site(those are 1.x, 2.x, 3.x, 6.x and 7.x)
  • 3impact section will stay as it is right now and will not be updated anymore
  • "3drad forum  backup" will be updated with massive resource pack (>1gb) and all download links from threads will work again
  • Games released using all versions of 3drad will be released as well (Virtual Gotcha, Beaver, Monster mash, Contest demos etc...)
  • Tutorials section will be opened in December with tutorials and documentation on both 2nd and 3rd generation 3DRAD

Best regards,
Administrator.

Help, I use 3D Rad very often, but when I come here for tutorials, tools, etc., it tells me to enter an invite code. I don't have one, but would like to become a beta tester so I can get one. It would really help me use the software more easily.
Hello, Andrew.
At this moment official tutorials(a full copy from 3drad.com) are not available since original 3drad owner doesn't reply on any attempt to contact him.
As for tools, they'll come online after project will leave beta test phase and developers will participate.

Also, you can visit http://3dradboards.org/ to for more help with engine

What you see is an attempt to resurrect great community of one of the oldest game engines
3D RAD

Being a huge 3D Rad fan for more then 10 years, I had an agreement with 3drad owner back in 2010 that I'll host a project where 3drad users could show their work. Project was very ambitious at start but had not enough work force and spare time to be completed and become frozen for a long period.
But since original community forum was closed, I decide to restart my project and turn it to something more then a project library.

This site is not official and will not be sponsored by someone. But it will not be left dead after some reason since it will be crowd-sourced. That mean that as long as theres someone creating software using 3Drad, site will live.

Project gone public beta since June 2015.
